Your donations are directly invested back to the parks through our events and funds.

Here are just some of the ways your financial support helps all park goers. 


Tad Jeffrey Memorial Fund

Donations to this fund provide grants to individual parks to implement unique and diverse projects. This year, the Tad Jeffrey Grands helped fund:

  • Snow Cone Machine for the entire park district
  • Pollinator habitat along Greenways
  • Bathyscopes for Resource Management & Programs
  • Kayaks for summer camps
  • Bat locator for programs at Glacier Ridge
  • Barn Swallow Habitat at Prairie Oaks
  • Augmented Reality Sandbox for Highbanks and Blacklick

Tree and Bench Program

This program allows groups and individuals to donate trees and benches to honor or commemorate friends or loved ones as well as commemorate special events.

In 2017 this program planted 18 trees and installed 12 benches. 

Benningfield Butterfly Program

Friends funds help to create seven beds to attract forty species of butterflies to Scioto Audubon Metro Park.
